As Dmitry Petrochenko reported, Thursday, November 12,  Red Wings took its fifth SSJ 100 (tail number 89010), after the flight from Ramenskoye Airport to airline's base Domodedovo Airport. The aircraft was manufactured in 2012 and previously operated by "Aeroflot". As Red Wings representative told 50skyshades, all necessary technical work were conducted and the aircraft is ready for operations by the airline.

"On the date of receipt to Red Wings fleet the aircraft carried out 1790 landing, flew 2270 hours. The fifth SSJ 100 aircraft in the airline's fleet has 8 seats in Business class and 85 seats in Economy. This is the last of texpected SSJ in gray and red liveryof Red Wings until the end of 2015. In 2016it is planned to increase the number of this type aircraft to 12 , "explained company representative to 50skyshades.

Some basic things about Red Wings - a Russian airline based in Moscow's Domodedovo airport. The airline was founded in 1999 under the name "Airlines 400", the original fleet consisted of its Tu-154 and Il-76, for passenger and cargo flights. Back in 2007, due to changes of the ownership, the airline received its present name - Red Wings.A new development strategy was adopted. It was based on the exploitation of Russian Tu-204. During the initial stage of the program 3 aircraft of that type were purchased.

From 2007 to 2010 Red Wings got another five of new Russian Tu-204-100V. Currently, there are 8 aircraft of this type in the fleet. Twice Red Wings became the winner of the national aviation award "Wings of Russia" in nomination "Airline of the Year - a charter passenger carrier." - year 2008 and 2010.

First ever regular flight of Red Wings was carried out back on June 25, 2012, from Moscow Vnukovo Airport to the most western city of Russia - Kaliningrad.

Year 2015 - Red Wings is the largest Russian commercial operator of Tu-204 (8 aircraft) in 210 seats configuration. In February 2015 fleet replenished with a new type of aircraft Sukhoi Superjet 100. Currently there are five aircraft ot this type in the fleet. All airline's SSJ 100 have a two-class configuration: 8 seats in Business class and 85 - Economy.

Currently Red Wings carries out flights from Moscow (Domodedovo) to the following cities: Makhachkala, Mineralnye Vody, Grozny, Sochi, Simferopol, Ulyanovsk, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don, Anapa, Saratov, from St. Petersburg to Makhachkala .
