Austrian Airlines set for maiden EMB-195 - Airlines publisher

Austrian Airlines (OS, Vienna) will shortly take delivery of its maiden EMB-195 with the arrival of OE-LWD (cn 19000411). The Brazilian-made jet, the first of seventeen acquired from fellow Lufthansa(LH, Frankfurt Int'l) affiliate Lufthansa CityLine (CL, Munich), recently exited the paintshop inBratislava ahead of its delivery to Vienna.

As previously reported, Austrian will use its EMB-195s on training flights initially before deploying them into revenue service from January 4, 2016 onwards.
