The next chapter in BermudAir growth takes flight with the addition of two Embraer 190AR-E1 aircraft to its fleet. These versatile and proven aircraft will join BermudAir’ scurrent fleet of Embraer aircraft in Spring 2025, ultimately enhancing BermudAir’s operations, offering increased capacity, greater range, and new opportunities to connect travellers with Bermuda for work and pleasure.

The Embraer 190 is a trusted and adaptable aircraft, widely recognised for its reliable performance across the demanding operations of airlines around the globe. With 96 passenger seats, the Embraer 190 offers greater capacity for both travellers and cargo, featuring approximately 1,000 kg more cargo space and an additional range of 1,000 kilometres compared to the Embraer 175s in BermudAir’s current fleet.

Adam Scott, Founder and CEO of BermudAir, commented: “After just one year of establishing BermudAir, we are thrilled to take this next step in our journey. Adding these two Embraer 190 aircraft will allow us to grow thoughtfully while ensuring we maintain the high standards of reliability and service our customers have come to expect. This expansion will support our efforts to stabilise operations, create new opportunities for travel, and enhance the experience for everyone who flies BermudAir. Knowing when to grow and how to do so responsibly is critical to ensuring long-term success. This expansion reflects our commitment to meeting the needs of our customers while continuing to deliver the reliable and exceptional service BermudAir is known for."

These new aircraft underscore BermudAir’s dedication to operational excellence with the 3rdaircraft to be operated as a dedicated spare and on-demand charter aircraft, while the 4th will enable BermudAir to increase frequencies to existing markets and to expand into additional markets. With this fleet expansion, BermudAir is not only bolstering its operational capabilities but also unlocking opportunities for network growth and service enhancements.  The new aircraft will support both existing cities and the previously announced new destinations, including Hartford, CT/Springfield, MA (BDL), Raleigh-Durham (RDU), and Charleston (CHS) starting in April 2025.
