China Eastern Airlines (MU) is set to launch a nonstop service linking Shanghai with Colombo, capital of Sri Lanka on September 21, 2015, to provide more convenient choices for travelers.
The Shanghai-based carrier will operate the new international service four times weekly (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday), using Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
The outbound flight MU231 is scheduled to take off from Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) at 2:10 p.m. and arrive in Colombo at 7:00 p.m., with the return flight MU232 leaving Colombo at 8:20 p.m. and landing in Shanghai at 6:00 a.m., the next day (all local time).
