Upon arrival in St. Petersburg, patients will be transported to a hospital of the northern capital, where they will receive all the necessary assistance.
The Emergencies Ministry' An-148 carrying out aeromedical flights is fitted with modern equipment and special medical modules necessary to monitor and maintain the condition of critically ill patients and to provide them with the necessary assistance during the flight.
Throughout the operation the hospitalized patients are accompanied by medical specialists of the State Central Airmobile Rescue Squad "Tsentrospas" of the Emergencies Ministry, the National Center for Disaster Medicine "Zashchita" of the Ministry of Health and a psychologist of the Center of Emergency Psychological Aid of the Emergencies Ministry.
