Atlas Atlantique Airlines (L5, Nantes) is planning to open its first Paris base at Paris Vatry ahead of plans to commence scheduled flights to Algeria and Morocco this autumn.
As previously reported, the carrier, formerly known as Atlantique Air Assistance (TLB, Nantes), will lease an A320-200 for flights to Algier (3x weekly), Oran (7x weekly), Tlemcen (1x weekly), and Setif(1x weekly) in Algeria as well as Casablanca Int'l and Oujda in Morocco beginning this October. Flights will operate from Vatry as well as from St. Etienne, Carcassonne, and Toulon.
The flights are operated in conjunction with Atlas Tours which is affiliated with Air Méditerranée (ML,Lourdes/Tarbes).
