Nobody was injured on the Asia Pacific Cargo flight as it mades the emergency landing at the Guam International Airport.
Airport spokeswoman Rolenda Faasuamalie said no fire or smoke was reported and air traffic control had received an alert that there was a situation on board that “may affect safe landing."
The incident did not have a major impact on airport operations delaying a few flights for a couple of minutes as the airport remained fully operational.
According to flightaware.com, that plane was headed from Guam to Pohnpei before it was diverted.
Other aircraft continued to land at the airport after the cargo plane touched down.
