Bamboo Airways was added to the IOSA Registry. The IOSA Registration Certificate Awarding Ceremony was also officially held in January 2020, in Hanoi. The IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Program is an internationally recognized and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline. IOSA registration is the most important program for aviation safety, which is conducted every 2 years with approximately 1000 standards and recommended practices.

The evaluation process is conducted throughout the Airline’s Operation Control Centre, Maintenance Centre, Safety Security & Quality Assurance Division, Flight Crew Division, Ground Operation Division, Technical & Maintenance, etc.

“We congratulate Bamboo Airways on its IOSA registration. IOSA is the global standard for airline operational safety auditing and is at the core of our efforts to raise the bar on safety. It is a rigorous audit, with about 1,000 standards and recommended practices. Bamboo Airway’s completion of IOSA and IOSA registration demonstrates the airline’s commitment to safety, the industry’s number one priority,” said IATA’s Regional Vice President for Asia Pacific Conrad Clifford.

“Achieving IOSA registration is the most convincing evidence for Bamboo Airways’ adherence to the motto of putting safety first over time and in the future, which will be one on the solid foundations for the progress towards the goal of becoming an  airline that caters 5-star service to catch up with the trend of new and modern aviation industry of the world,” said Vice Chairman cum Chief Executive Officer of Bamboo Airway.

Conformance with the standards set by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) is serving as a foundation for Bamboo Airways to expand its route network and international cooperation. This event will also pave the way for Bamboo Airways to become an official member of IATA in the near future.
