A Bell 407GX helicopter crashed in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality on Sunday afternoon, and all four people on board were killed.

"There are no black boxes on the crashed helicopter, but there are other devices which record the flight data of the helicopter, and the search is under way for the devices," said an official from the Chongqing Civil Aviation Safety Supervision and Management Bureau.

The aircraft was performing an aerial photography task when it lost contact with ground control, after departing from Wanzhou District to Liangping County. Rescuers found the debris of the helicopter and all four victims at around 6:30 p.m. in Hucao Village of Liangping County.

The cause of the accident is under investigation. Four persons killed in the crash including the captain, first officer and two passengers.

The two passengers are Jiang Ya, photographer of Chongqing TV and Song Hao'en, director of a documentary film named "A Bird's Eye View of Chongqing". They were taking an aerial photograph of the city when the accident happened.
