S7 Airlines, a member of the oneworld® global aviation alliance®, won a prize at the National Geographic Traveler Awards 2015 in the category “The best Russian airline”.

The awarding ceremony took place in Moscow. National Geographic Traveler Awards 2015 includes 18 categories connected with trips and recreation.

Winners of each category are chosen by travelers by online poll on the awards website.

“We are glad to win this prize. It is especially pleasant, that the winner is determined by passengers, including readers of the magazine “National Geographic Traveler”, who fly and travel a lot. We develop dynamically, and try to offer convenient flights, most modern and much-in-demand services in order to make trips convenient from the moment of buying air tickets. This award is a confirmation, that passengers welcome and appreciate all changes. I thank everybody, who voted for S7 Airlines. We will be glad to see you on our flights”, Vladimir Objedkov, S7 Airlines General Director, noted.

In the current year S7 Airlines was recognized as the most punctual airline in the world seven times, becoming the leader of monthly airline punctuality ratings, published by FlightStats agency. Moreover from the beginning of the year the airline maintains punctuality leadership at its hub, Moscow Domodedovo Airport.

According to the results of 2014 S7 Airlines became the winner of the “Wings of Russia” awards in three categories: the best airline on domestic routes, the best business strategy and achievements in electronic commerce.
