Cooperation developing
This is the second contract that Safi Airways has signed with AFI KLM E&M. Fabrice Defrance, AFI KLM E&M SVP Commercial said: "Safi Airways has already shown its confidence in us in the past with a cabin modification contract for one of its aircraft. That cooperation is being extended today with the signing of this component support contract." Safi Airways' acting CEO, Zaidan Khalifat added: "We were very pleased with the work of the Dubai sales team, which was able to submit an offer that included a stock of spare parts based in Dubai, where we operate." This forward parts pool will mean improved component support responsiveness in the Gulf region.
