One of the world's largest passenger planes had to make an emergency landing at Gander International Airport on Wednesday afternoon.

The Emirates airline flight 203 from Dubai to New York City diverted to Gander after it was suspected someone onboard was having a heart attack.

The Airbus 380 will refuel before taking off to New York City, said Brian Hicks, manager of safety and security at Gander International Airport.

There is no immediate word on the person's condition.
