Austrian Airlines is expanding its flight service to Italy, and will operate one flight per week to Bari starting on May 26, 2016. The capital of the Italian region of Apulia will be offered for the first time in single seat sales. This means, the flights can now also be directly booked on the Austrian Airlines Website for the first time. The flights to Bari include a stopover in Lamezia Terme.
With this additional destination, Austria’s national carrier is further expanding its network of tourist destinations in the summer 2016 season. On balance, Austrian Airlines will offer 95 weekly flights to twelve destinations in Italy, including Rome, Milan and Bologna. Accordingly, Austrian Airlines remains the market leader as measured by the number of destinations and weekly flight connections from Austria to Italy.
Bari
Austrian Airlines will operate the flights on Thursdays deploying a Fokker 100 aircraft during the summer season, from May 26, 2016 to September 22, 2016. Air fares start at EUR 149 one-way including taxes and charges.
