Gorno-Altaisk’s airport on Wednesday lodged a suit to a sum of 1.07 million roubles (16,304 U.S. dollars) against bankrupt Transaero air company, according to materials published on the website of the St. Petersburg Court of Arbitration on Thursday.

No further details are available.

Transaero’s aggregate debts to creditors, along with leasing, are 250 billion roubles, or 3.8 billion U.S. dollars). Its biggest creditors are Sberbank, VTB, VEB, Gazprombank, Moscow Credit Bank, Novicombank, Bank Otkrytiye, MFK, and others.

The Russian government passed a decision on Transaero bankruptcy on October 1. The company ceased operation on October 26. Aeroflot,Transaero’s operational manager, and other air carriers will continue to render services to Transaero passenger till December 15. Aeroflot also promised to return money for Transaero tickets sold for flights after December 15.
