Earlier this year, HK Express asked Guests to vote for their dream destinations. Hong Kong’s most on-time airline is now about to make those dreams a reality!

As promised, HK Express is planning to launch a new flight to the winning destination in Summer 2016. So where will the low-fare airline be flying next year? Guam! But that’s not all. As an added bonus, HK Express is introducing flights to Saipan, as well!

Formerly quite difficult to access, both Pacific destinations promise incredible experiences for Hong Kong travellers. Pending regulatory approval, the low-fare airline will become the first low-fare airline and the first airline flying to the highly sought-after Guam and Saipan!

Guam, an American territory in Micronesia, is known for its sandy coastline, beach bars, ancient villages, shipwrecks and wildlife reserves. The crystal-clear waters will demand the bulk of travellers’ time; however there are plenty of hiking and outdoor activities to keep active travellers on their toes.

Meanwhile, Saipan which belongs to the Northern Mariana Islands has been called one of the most beautiful places in the world — for good reason! Towering mountains surround the photogenic island, whilst coral reefs and pristine beaches steal the show. There is something for every type of traveller: indulge in sunbathing or explore the colourful marine life on a diving or snorkelling outing.

“It is incredibly exciting to see so much interest in underserved and up-and-coming destinations across the greater Asia-Pacific region,” said Andrew Cowen, CEO of HK Express. “Our Facebook campaign earlier this year revealed a lot about the curious and adventurous travellers onboard HK Express flights, who are looking for affordable and adventurous experiences. As promised, we will be launching super attractive fares very soon enabling more Guests to step aboard our planes and fall in love with these two new places.”

These far-flung islandsaren’t the only new destinations HK Express is introducing next year. Travellers can also look forward to new flights to Yangon and Mandalay in early 2016, while HK Express also intends to launch flights to Luang Prabang in Laos, pending regulatory approvals.
