Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport (TNA) reported to have handled 9,004,800 passengers from January to Dec. 10 this year, up 9 percent from the same period of 2014.

From the start of the new winter/spring flight season, Jinan airport has launched twelve new services including Fuzhou-Jinan-Dalian, Harbin-Jinan-Hong Kong, Jinan-Changsha-Phuket, further meeting passengers' travel demand and effectively promoting the passenger growth of about 9 percent in the recent two months.

Currently 29 carriers have launched over 120 services at Jinan airport, with 10 international services to Seoul, Bangkok, Singapore, Chiang Mai, Osaka, Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, Cheongju, Bali and Da Nang and 6 regional services to Hong Kong, Macau, Taipei, Kaohsiung, Hualien and Taichung.

The airport is expected to handle a total of 9.5 million passengers by year end, breaking a new historical record.
