Munich AirportAcademy has been officially recognized as a member of the International Civil Aviation Organization esteemed TRAINAIR PLUS Program. This important achievement was announced at the Global Implementation Support Symposium in Abu Dhabi, February 10-12, 2025. The certification acknowledges the Academy’s commitment to providing world-class aviation training and its alignment with ICAO’s rigorous standards for competency-based education.

The TRAINAIR PLUS Program is a global initiative of more than 100 leading training organizations, government agencies, and academic partners. It is designed to enhance the collaboration to improve the quality and standardization of aviation training worldwide.

This milestone places the Munich AirportAcademy in an elite network dedicated to developing and sharing knowledge on a global scale. It also strengthens its position as one of the leaders in aviation training and expands its global footprint. 

As a certified TRAINAIR PLUS member, the Munich AirportAcademy is now authorized to offer more than 300 ICAO Standardized Training Packages (STPs). These STPs cover aviation topics such as airport facilities and infrastructures, air navigation services, laws and regulations, aviation management, security, safety, environment, etc.
