NokScoot, a Thailand-based low-cost airline, will start a four weekly flight between Bangkok (Don Mueang) and Tianjin (Binhai), January 15,  2016.

The airline will use a Boeing 777-200 aircraft on the route, with 415 seats (24 in business class seats and 391 in economy).

"NokScoot received good customer feedback from our flights to Nanjing and Qingdao... Market research indicates growing demand to China destinations and we are tapping demand to grow our network in China," said, NokScoot's CEO, Piya Yodmani.

"Going forward, NokScoot plans to open up more new destinations in China. We are confident that our direct flights will encourage tourism and business exchanges between the two countries," he added.

A special introductory fare starts at 2,999 baht (All-in/One Way) is bookable until December 4.
