A non-stop international route linking Chengdu in southwest China's Sichuan Province and Riga, Latvia is expected to open upon a Letter of Intention signed between Latvia Minister of Transport Kaspars Ozoliņš and Chengdu Deputy Mayor Liu Shoucheng.
Ozoliņš expressed his wishes to deepen the cooperation between Chengdu and Riga in wider aspects including culture, economy and city construction through the launch of the non-stop flight between Chengdu and Roga.
A preliminary agreement has been reached after several rounds of negotiation and preparation for the non-stop flight will be made according to schedule.
