30 years, 800 guests and £20,000 raised – Luxaviation UK celebrates at the Aviation Polo Cup 2026

Aviation took the spotlight at Hurtwood Park Polo Club on Saturday, 5 September, where more than 800 guests gathered with Luxaviation UK and Castle Air for the 2026 edition of the Aviation Polo Cup. Marking its 30th anniversary in style, Luxaviation UK secured a celebratory tournament victory against Castle Air — a fitting highlight for a milestone year.

The event united the aviation community for a full day of polo, dynamic air displays, family‑focused activities and meaningful fundraising — generating £20,000 in support of four charities: Crowborough Community First Responders, fly2help, Cornwall Air Ambulance, and Magpas Air Ambulance. 

The auction had ten prizes, with an additional four raffle prizes, including a Mercedes-Benz driving lesson, Red Devils experience, stay for two at Rockliffe Hall, Investec rugby tickets, Brasserie Blanc vouchers, Oktoberfest experience with JetLeg, London helicopter tour with Castle Air and an empty leg flight with Luxaviation UK.

Awarded after the polo match, Philip Amadeus was named Most Valuable Player (MVP), presented by Signature Aviation, while Kiara, owned by Luxaviation UK team captain Cody Jones, was recognised as Best Playing Pony by London Biggin Hill Airport. The winner’s trophy was presented to Luxaviation UK by Avinode Group.

Entertainment included a LYNX Heli to deliver the match ball, Yak jets display, a Spitfire display, Gravity Jet Industries Demonstration and a drone show sponsored by Jetcraft and Jafa & Co. Guests also enjoyed music by Lo-Fi band and Sarah Bo Parker. Younger guests explored the mini Land Rover Safari, the fun fair and face painting, as well as spending time with London Biggin Hill’s mascot bear Captain Mary.
