GlobeAir revealed the launch of landmark project - the construction of our brand-new hangar at Linz Airport! This initiative marks a pivotal moment in our journey towards sustained growth, innovation, and operational excellence in private aviation. This isn’t just a construction but a significant leap towards excellence and sustainability in private aviation. Spanning 1200 sqm, the hangar is equipped to house eight of our signature GlobeAir Citation Mustang Private Jets, emphasising its role as a specialised maintenance hub. Under the expert guidance of Bernhard Fragner, this €3.5m investment project manifests our unyielding commitment to the BizAv sector, aiming to serve efficiently with an in-house team of 25-30 dedicated members from our Maintenance and CAMO departments, ensuring the safety and quality of all aircraft.

Bernhard Fragner, GlobeAir CEO, commented: "With the construction of this state-of-the-art hangar, we're not just building a facility; we're creating a symbol of our commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability in private aviation," says Bernhard Fragner, GlobeAir CEO. "We are profoundly grateful for the continued support from our clients and partners as we embark on this exciting new chapter."

The hangar is meticulously designed to be a nexus of cutting-edge technology and intelligent infrastructure, integral for enhancing Part145 operations. Not only is it a storehouse for aircraft, but it also incorporates a shop and parts store within its premises. With three floors comprising offices, training rooms, a pilot lounge, and storage areas, the hangar blends functionality and innovation.

In alignment with our environmental responsibility pledge, the facility integrates sustainable initiatives, including installing Solar panels, rainwater catchment systems, electric vehicle charging stations, and dedicated recycling facilities. Every aspect of the hangar underscores our dedication to promoting sustainability while pursuing relentless growth and innovation in private aviation.

The new hangar is a marvel of design and sustainability and is fully integrated on all security levels, considering its strategic location airside of the Linz Airport. Safety and security are at the forefront of our operational priorities, and this facility is a testament to that commitment.
