Aerocardal, an air ambulance, charter, and cargo services provider operating in Chile, announced the purchase of a Czech-made Aircraft Industries L 410 NG. The deal has enhanced Aerocardal’s fleet and positioned one of the region’s leading business aviation companies as the strategic sales partner within the Americas for OMNIPOL Group, the parent company of Aircraft Industries. The newly acquired L 410 NG is projected to arrive in Q4 of 2024 in Chile with its original passenger configuration, which can also be converted into an ambulance version – a key aspect considering Aerocardal’s regional reach in this market.

Ricardo Real, CEO of Aerocardal commented:  “This aircraft represents advanced technology and versatility, fitting well into our mission to provide top-notch services in passenger transport, as well as emergency medical evacuations. We are excited about bringing this outstanding aircraft to Chile and the Latin American market. We are looking forward to demonstrating this aircraft’s unique capabilities and offering our customers a solution that is safe, reliable, versatile, and suits their requirements for air travel. The partnership underlines our commitment to excellence and innovation in aviation."

Jiří Podpěra, President of OMNIPOL Group, highlighted this unique cooperation. “We are very proud to have Aerocardal as our strategic partner in America. Their experience and market knowledge will be beneficial when introducing the L 410 NG to new customers and increasing our regional presence. This collaboration is another important step toward supplying advanced aviation solutions worldwide. The L 410 NG is an aircraft, but it is much more—it is the future of regional aviation. With Aerocardal’s support, we are sure to meet customers’ changing needs across the commercial, medevac, and military sectors in the Americas."

The L 410 NG is an improvement on the older version of the L 410 UVP-E20, providing better flying parameters and operational characteristics. This model will give a more extended flying range, an additional carrying capacity for 500 kilograms more cargo, and a doubled luggage compartment volume. Furthermore, it ensures proper integration of modern technologies with innovative avionics, like the state-of-the-art Garmin G300 Glass Cockpit Technology, enabling the L 410 NG to stand apart and be one of the most efficient and reliable aircraft for diverse missions.

The partnership with OMNIPOL Group reflects and shares a vision of innovation and excellence in aeronautics. Aerocardal looks to the future, confirming a willingness to discover new horizons in the air and continue to expand the possibilities.

Official sales partner in the region

This partnership also appoints Aerocardal as the official sales representative in the Americas for the L 410 NG aircraft and other OMNIPOL Group aerospace and defense sectors. This will allow the Santiago-based company to enhance its presence and introduce this state-of-the-art aircraft to new customers around the continent. Real showcases that the company has experience as an official sales representative and understands the local market shifts in demand and customer needs.
