AXIS Aviation is now offering its Gulfstream G650 charter customers the ability to connect to Starlink inflight Wi-Fi, making it one of the only operators in Europe to provide Starlink on this aircraft type. Successful installation of the satellite-based connectivity service now means that AXIS Aviation’s customers can enjoy seamless high-speed internet connection while travelling 51,000ft off the ground, at no extra cost.

Cedric Gitchenko, member of the executive board and lead pilot, AXIS Aviation, commented: “Our first installation of Starlink Wi-Fi highlights AXIS Aviation’s commitment to innovation and delivering an unparalleled standard of customer service. We are proud to say we are one of the first operators in Europe to offer Starlink’s seamless inflight connectivity. Whether conducting virtual business meetings, streaming entertainment or staying connected to loved ones, our clients can now stay online via a fast and reliable internet connection.”

The Gulfstream G650 can fly at a range of up to 7000nm (13000km) and has a maximum altitude of 51,000ft (15,545m). It offers wide seats that fully recline, high-definition entertainment systems and a spacious cabin that can accommodate up to 14 passengers. Suited to long-haul travel, the G650 ensures a smooth, efficient and comfortable journey. AXIS Aviation welcomed the G650 to its fleet in 2022. Now, with an added layer of connectivity for business and leisure travellers, the aircraft is based in Nassau, Bahamas and New York and is available for worldwide charter flights.
