Big Island Jet Center celebrates one million gallons of fuel sold

Big Island Jet Center is excited to announce a major milestone in its operations as it sold its one millionth gallon of fuel this July. The impressive achievement comes within a mere seven months of the FBO’s grand opening and before the completion of its permanent terminal, slated to be finished in Q32025.Hawaii’s newest premier FBO, located at Kailua-Kona’s Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport (PHKO), celebrated its grand opening in December 2023 as a start-up on the field, first welcoming passengers just in time for the busy holiday season. As the only independent FBO with exclusive parking, BIJC is currently booking its last few parking opportunities for the 2024 holiday season.

Big Island Jet Center’s early success is a testament to the services, amenities and customer care it offers, which will continue to grow with the highly-anticipated opening of its modern, sophisticated terminal. In the meantime, the FBO operates out of its tranquil temporary terminal, boasting more than nine acres of parking space and planeside vehicle access; a 50,000-gallon jet fuel storage facility; indoor and outdoor passenger seating; a pristine lobby and luxury accommodations; and full services, including ground handling, towing, USDA inspections and catering.
