Boutsen Aviation Founders Thierry and Daniela Boutsen were awarded the Special Jury Prize at the 5th Annual “Trophées de l’Eco” at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. Hosted by the Monaco Economic Board, six entrepreneurs were awarded prizes based on their contributions to the Principality. There is little doubt that Boutsen Aviation has greatly contributed to the entrepreneurial spirit of Monaco: Over the past nineteen years, the team has sold 329 aircraft around the world and holds the offi cial title of “By Appointment to HSH Prince Albert II”.
The entire team of Boutsen Aviation Monaco was present at the ceremony to support Thierry and Daniela Boutsen as they took the stage to accept the fi rst award of the evening. It was presented by Christian Pinault of Caisse d’Epargne Côte D’Azur and Michel Prost Dumont of BP Mediterranée. As in Formula 1, everything at Boutsen Aviation is about team spirit: Mr. Boutsen affi rmed this in his acceptance speech acknowledging the hard work and dedication from his team of experts who have helped make the company what it is today.
The event, organized by group Nice-Matin, was attended by Minster of State SE Serge Telle, Minister of Finance Mr. Jean Castellini and four hundred spectators including Jean-Marc Pastorino (President of Nice-Matin group) and Michel Dotta (President of the Monaco Economic Board).
