Helicopter charter and sales business Castle Air has found that cloud-based software from Total AOC is making it easy to audit and manage the business in multiple locations.
Castle Air uses Centrik to handle its documents, safety management, risk management, training and administration tasks, with its web-based interface ensuring all processes are robustly documented in a transparent manner.
Castle Air Managing Director Ross Bunyard says: “Centrik has streamlined the business and is invaluable for our company which has bases nearly 300 miles apart. The web nature of the system allows tasks to be completed anywhere and anytime. The Quality/Compliance and Safety modules make the team’s life significantly easier.”
He adds: “Also, the EFB function of Centrik is invaluable cutting down on the amount of paperwork and time spent updating hard copies of operations manuals.”
Castle Air particularly makes extensive use of the Quality/Compliance module, using it to carry out internal departmental audits regularly and conduct surveys to monitor internal training standards. The business also uses the Safety module as an EASA-class Safety Management System. Bunyard says: “Centrik provides a safety heatmap which at a glance shows how we are performing and where we need to focus, which is particularly useful.”
Meanwhile, the Documents module allows management to contact staff at both of Castle Air’s locations in London and Cornwall, as well as tracking exactly who within the company has read safety newsletters, notices and other essential documents.
Centrik from Total AOC provides complete cloud-based operational management for operators, MROs and airports. Its wide-ranging modules include powerful tools for managing documents, safety, risk, training, workflows and much more.
