Corail Helicopters, operator of a 7 Airbus Helicopters fleet, has become the launch customer of Fleet KeeperTM thanks to a contract agreement signed today at the Helitech exhibition in Amsterdam. Developed by Airbus Helicopters as part of its HCare Connected Services offering, Fleet KeeperTM has recently been validated by the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) for use within Airbus Helicopters airworthiness organization.
Fleet KeeperTM is a state of the art mobile and web application that replaces the traditional paper-based technical logbook. The tool allows pilots, airworthiness managers and mechanic teams to record flight reports, track technical events and transfer data between one another in real-time and at the push of a button. Compatible with the whole Airbus Helicopters range as well as other types, Fleet KeeperTM simplifies customer operations by recording technical data into a secured cloud-based and integrated database, which is accessible by tablets or PCs. Moreover, the new version v2 of Fleet KeeperTM, now available on the Appstore, improves commercial flight operations management.
“We are thrilled to be the first to use the Fleet KeeperTM application.” said Fabrice Lourme, General Manager of Corail Helicopters. “We believe this tool matches our fleet requirements and will enhance our daily activities by bringing our operations into the digital age”.
HCare is an essential part of Airbus Helicopters as it focuses on developing tailor made services solutions to support customers worldwide. Through the launch of Fleet KeeperTM, Airbus Helicopters has simplified and reshaped its material support offerings by developing a tool to better manage customers’ daily helicopter operations.
“We continue to develop our services offering to become the benchmark in the industry” said Matthieu Louvot, Airbus Helicopters’ Executive Vice President Customer Support & Services. “Fleet KeeperTM is the latest of many improvements we are rolling out to enhance customer experience through the use of innovative, digital solutions dedicated to the support of flight operations”.
Established in 2003 and located in Réunion, Corail Helicopters was the first French customer to order the H130 light helicopter fitted with aerial work mission equipment and to this day operates a mix of all Airbus Helicopters for commercial flights and aerial work missions.
