Elit’Avia announced the acquisition of Pioneer Business Services of Newburgh, New York. Pioneer offers comprehensive services for private aircraft owners and passengers, including end-to-end aircraft management and flexible charter options. Kevin Rodgers, President, Elit’Avia Americas, commented: “We are very pleased to announce the acquisition of Pioneer. Drawing on our years of experience and knowledge of the domestic market, we will deliver services that enable our US-based clients to navigate the complexities of private aviation with confidence and peace of mind.”
The acquisition entails:
· Additional business aircraft under management
· Continued operations at New York Stewart International Airport (KSFW)
· Renewed focus on US-based aircraft management and charter services
· The evolution of the Elit’Avia brand into two separate entities – Elit’Avia Americas and Elit’Avia International
Going forward, Michel Coulomb will continue to serve as CEO and Accountable Manager of Elit’Avia International, serving Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia; with Kevin Rodgers assuming the role of President of Elit’Avia Americas, serving clients in North and South America.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Kevin has more than 20 years of business aviation experience, including the last 14 years as Executive Vice President of ZenithJet, where he served both ZenithJet and Elit’Avia clients. Earlier in his career, he was Director of Sales at Jet Aviation and Vice President of Operations at Bombardier Skyjet. Kevin is a licensed pilot and dispatcher, in addition to serving as Vice Chairman of the Georgia Business Aviation Association.
