Falcon Executive Aviation, a member of Alex Group Investment, has been awarded General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) certification for commercial helicopter operations at its state-of-the-art Dubai Helipark facility located at Dubai World Central. This milestone enhances the company's premium mobility offering, enabling seamless helicopter transfers between Al Maktoum International Airport and key destinations across Dubai and the UAE. The new capability delivers an elevated travel experience, combining speed, convenience and operational flexibility for discerning passengers.

Strategically positioned within Dubai South, Dubai Helipark offers immediate proximity to both commercial and business aviation operations at Al Maktoum International Airport, while providing efficient access to Dubai’s key business hubs and destinations across the UAE.

For private aviation travellers, Falcon Executive Aviation delivers a fully integrated air mobility experience through Falcon Elite, seamlessly coordinating transfers between private jets and helicopters at DWC. This premium connectivity solution enables passengers to transition effortlessly between fixed-wing and rotorcraft services, maximizing convenience, efficiency and time savings.

Sultan Rashit Shene, Owner and Chairman of Alex Group Investment, commented: "Dubai Helipark gives our clients more choice in how they travel. Its location at Dubai World Central allows us to connect helicopter operations with both commercial and business aviation, while providing faster access to Dubai and destinations across the UAE."

Operating 24/7 on a reservation basis, Dubai Helipark is designed to accommodate helicopters of up to 18 metres in length and a maximum landing weight of 8.3 tonnes.

The facility supports a broad spectrum of rotorcraft operating under Performance Classes 1, 2 and 3, including models such as the Leonardo AW139, AW169 and AW189, Airbus H145, H125 and H130, as well as the Bell 412, Bell 429 and Bell 505. Its infrastructure features eight operational parking positions, a dedicated maintenance stand, and full capability for both daytime and night-time operations.

Issued on 1 October 2026, the GCAA Helicopter Commercial Operations Registration (HCR) marks a significant milestone for Falcon Executive Aviation. With certified helicopter operations now fully established, the company is enhancing connectivity at Dubai World Central, delivering a seamless, premium mobility solution that bridges air travel, Dubai's commercial centres and destinations across the wider UAE.
