"A Group" summed up first results of "Leningrad" helipad in Pulkovo, which was opened July 24, 2015. In these six weeks more than 100 passengers already were using helicopter transfer service.
"Leningrad" helipad is located in "Pulkovo-2" very close tothe "A'Group" Business Aviation Terminal A-Group, what makes it easy to arrange transfers from helicopter to a business jet or to schedulled flights.The helipad is able to accept take takeoff and landing helicopters weighing up to 16 tons, thus "A-Group" in Pulkovo is able to serve the majority of types of passenger helicopters up to the Mi-38. "Leningrad" can be used to perform both domestic and international flights,working 24/7.
For "A-Group" it is the second business area as the first helipad "Sheremetyevo-A" was opened back in September 2013. During last year the frequency of use of "Sheremetyevo-A" helipad increased four times!
According to Olga Gerasina, commercial director of "A-Group", ahelicopter shuttle service - the service with the highest growth rate in the Sheremetyevo, is now fully available in Pulkovo. "The presence of the helipad was another competitive advantage of "A-Group" in Pulkovo. Helicopter transfer is the future, and we are in A-Group had to focuse maximum attention on this direction ", - commented Ms. Gerasina.
Helicopter shuttle service is becoming more and more popular, especially in the northern capital, where flights over the city are allowed. To get fastest possible to the airport and back today is one of priorities.

"A-Group" was founded in 2006 with the aim to create business aviation centers at Sheremetyevo and Pulkovo International Airports. In 2014 "A-Group" completed the consolidation of its assets and now is a comprehensive business aviation infrastructure in the two Russian capitals, Moscow - Sheremetyevo International Airport and St. Petersburg - Pulkovo airport. "A-Group" means business aviation terminals, hangar complex, own infrastructure to provide ground handling services. Consolidated revenues for the year increased by 30% compared to the same period last year.
