Hamburg IDAIR has delivered its Inflight Entertainment and Cabin Management System on its first B787-8 Head of State aircraft, which was completed at Associated Air Center (AAC) in Dallas, TX, USA.

IDAIR’s first B787-8 delivery and first project with AAC, this major milestone was achieved in smooth conditions enjoying the cooperation of many teams.

IDAIR provided a bespoke, high-end IFE, CMS and connectivity solution, including Audio/Video on Demand, an interactive moving map application, cockpit cameras, cabin controls via wireless devices for lighting, dynamic lighting scenarios, window shades, wireless printer and much more. All highlighted by IDAIR’s intuitive graphical user interface.

Passenger room controls include 787 incremental window shade grouping, multiple sources chosen from USB devices for overhead monitors or individual seat viewing and light controls.  Cabin crews are able to view status of cabin services such as water levels for shower use, WAP status for crew tablet and printer use and passenger telephone systems. Maintenance personal view system readiness and identify system anomalies pinpointing system remedies for full service.
