Luxaviation UK, the UK's largest private aviation charter operator and part of the Luxaviation Group, is reporting an increase of 30% in this summer's music festival business (May to September 2017) versus the same period last year.
George Galanopoulos, managing director, Luxaviation UK, says: “Getting artists, their management and support teams from A to B at the height of the festival season in the UK and the rest of Europe accounts for nearly a quarter of our summer season business. There is always high demand for artists to perform at more than one event, often three or four in quick succession.
“This summer's increase in music festival business is another positive indication of the UK's business aviation industry taking an upward turn. In June, we reported a 15% increase in overall bookings versus June 2016. This increase has been consistent in July and August, highlighting what has been a very positive summer for us.”

Luxaviation UK's fleet of 24 business aviation aircraft includes eight Embraer Legacy 600/650s, four Cessna Citation Excels, four Citation Mustangs and the recent addition of a Dassault Falcon 2000LXS. As part of the Luxaviation Group, Luxaviation UK also has access to a global fleet of more than 250 aircraft.
