Jet Aviation San Juan has returned to full FBO operations at Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport and is coordinating humanitarian flights bringing relief supplies to hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico and the rest of the Caribbean region.

“Our FBO has power and water and can be reached by normal access roads. We’re providing full service including fueling, ground handling, and aircraft service and parking on our ramp,” said John Langevin, vice president, Jet Aviation FBO Operations, North America. “We are operating with email and cell-phone service and are taking reservations and service requests from customers.”

Langevin said the FBO is coordinating nearly all of the humanitarian relief flights arriving at the airport to assist the residents of Puerto Rico and other Caribbean islands. “Thanks to our strong and dedicated FBO team, we were able to resume operations as the only functioning FBO at the airport last Friday, just 24 hours after Hurricane Maria struck Puerto Rico. Our team is putting all of its expertise and effort behind this monumental humanitarian relief effort,” he said.

The FBO is operating seven days a week, 5 a.m. to 12 a.m. midnight. Flights after midnight will be coordinated on an individual request basis. Customers are asked to contact the FBO directly by email at [email protected]. The FBO also can be reached by cell phone, although service can be intermittent, at 787.399.3260 or 787.923.8259.

Jet Aviation San Juan is the only FBO in Puerto Rico with full, on-site service by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, which also has resumed operations.
