Jet Aviation signed a non-binding MoU with the Singapore Economic Development Board and JTC Corporation. The MoU signifies the intent of all three parties to pursue discussions on potentially expanding the company’s capacity and capabilities in Singapore with a proposed hangar development at Seletar Aerospace Park.

Desmond Goh, Jet Aviation’s senior vice president regional operations and general manager, APAC commented: “This agreement marks an important milestone in our ongoing commitment to supporting our customers, and continuing to evolve our sites and services, in Asia-Pacific. Singapore is a key global hub in the Jet Aviation network. We arrived here 30 years ago and are delighted to have the opportunity to further build on the experience and capabilities we have developed over the last three decades as we strive to provide an even more seamless experience in the region. More than a declaration of intent, the MOU serves as the scaffolding for our combined goals as we continue to evolve our site and services to support our industry in this region. I am confident that our collective strengths will chart a growth pathway that is in sync with the ever-evolving needs of our customers. I would like to thank our customers and our partners for their ongoing trust and support, and look forward to working closely with EDB and JTC to continue to grow and strengthen Singapore as a global hub for business aviation.”

Following the signing of the MoU, the parties will commence formal discussions, focusing on opportunities to evolve the company’s maintenance and refurbishment capabilities to support business aircraft and new platforms in Singapore. The development of these discussions will remain subject to comprehensive assessment by all stakeholders and approvals from relevant authorities.

In 1995, Jet Aviation entered into APAC with an MRO and FBO base in Singapore. It was one of the early frontrunners offering business aviation services in the country, and as the industry has continued to grow in Singapore, Jet Aviation has continued to evolve its sites and services to support the developing needs of customers in the region.

This includes extending FBO services to Changi Airport in 2006, opening a new 5,000-square-meter maintenance hangar in 2014, and opening a third 3,850-square-meter hangar in 2017. In 2023, the FBO launched on-site sustainable aviation fuel in partnership with FlyORO, and in late 2024, achieved IS-BAH Stage 3 accreditation. In 2025, the company also announced that Jet Aviation Singapore was the third Jet Aviation site to join the Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ) Service Center Network, the only ACJ Service Center Network member in Asia-Pacific.

In 2025, the site unveiled its newly refurbished facility. To mark its 30 years in Singapore, the company also commissioned an art installation at its Singapore site, honoring its Swiss roots and recognizing the connection between Switzerland and Singapore.
