Jet Aviation Singapore has received a repair station certificate from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the governing civil aviation regulatory body in India, permitting the company to service and certify aircraft registered in India. This approval adds to the company’s DGCA approvals already in place in Dubai, Geneva and Basel.
The civil aviation authority (DGCA) in India has certified Jet Aviation Singapore as a repair station for Indian-registered aircraft. With this approval, the Singapore facility is authorized to perform line and base maintenance, as well as interior modifications, refurbishments and upgrades (MRUs) on all aircraft that are registered in India. This includes the Bombardier Challenger 300, 600 and Global Express Series, Learjet 31, 35, 36, 45 and 60 series.
“We have expanded our Singapore facility in response to increasing demand in the region and this approval demonstrates our ability to offer increased capabilities, such as heavy maintenance, modifications, refurbishments and upgrades, as a convenient regional solution for owners and operators from India,” said John Riggir, vice president and general manager at Jet Aviation Singapore.
Last year, Jet Aviation Singapore also received Part 145 CAAC maintenance approval form China, permitting the company to support Chinese operators of Bombardier and Gulfstream aircraft. It also received FAA approval for the Gulfstream G650 and its Interior Shop. In November 2015, the company was awarded the Asian Business Aviation Association’s (AsBAA) Best Maintenance & Repair Services Industry Award.
