The engineering team dedicates its attention to preparing the fleet before the new season.

Aivaras Svirplys, Technical Director at KlasJet commented: "We are committed to both technical precision and aesthetic perfection. This ensures that every aircraft meets and exceeds the highest standards of safety and client satisfaction. As we transition between seasons, our goal is to deliver an unmatched flying experience, reflecting our devotion to excellence in every detail. The Technical Department team is involved from the initial assessment of every new project, ensuring accurate evaluations through effective collaboration with other departments. Analytical thinking is a key skill within the company, optimizing maintenance strategies and risk management while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. Maintenance project's start and end dates are established, followed by the alignment of production plans to ensure seamless spare parts deliveries, efficient manpower allocation, and uninterrupted communication. This is achieved by appointing a technical personnel member as an on-site representative for the entire project. Despite regulatory requirements to ensure continuous airworthiness and constant fleet status monitoring, the key to success is our committed team and their endless efforts to guarantee compliance, safety, and operational efficiency."

Each new project has unique specifications, including flight schedules and client requests for additional equipment, such as extra business-class seating, emergency or medical equipment, or a custom aircraft livery to represent the client. There are also local requirements for customs, airport restrictions, partners' capabilities, and other factors to consider. It can be difficult to fit all these steps into a tight schedule between seasons, but the experienced team delivers a fully prepared aircraft to each client on time.

When working with the ACMI model it is vital to ensure compliance with international aviation standards during the preparation process. KlasJet operates both VIP and charter flights, with extensive knowledge of various regulatory systems and standards worldwide, which it has successfully integrated into its procedures and practices.

The airline has experience collaborating with service providers and partners abroad, so its key partners in terms of aircraft preparation are aircraft maintenance organizations .
