KUHN Aviation has ordered a third ACH145 helicopter, following two previous ACH145 orders this year, as it looks to expand its fleet. This commitment includes the first North American order for the refreshed ACH145 Mercedes-Benz Style Edition, while the additional two helicopters will feature ACH Line interiors. The ACH145 Mercedes-Benz Style Edition, currently undergoing a facelift, draws on the car manufacturer’s unique design codes to create a sophisticated interior matching the lifestyle of ACH clients.

Scott Kuhn, President and CEO, KUHN Aviation commented: “KUHN Aviation is committed to being a key competitor in the private aviation business, offering best-in-class services to our clients. The purchase of these Airbus helicopters underscores our commitment to growth and quality.”

Bart Reijnen, President of Airbus Helicopters in the U.S. and Head of the North America region stated: “We are pleased that KUHN Aviation has placed their trust in Airbus with the order of three ACH145s, and we look forward to supporting them throughout the lifecycle of the helicopters. The ACH145 offers outstanding performance, reliability, and comfort which have made it the preferred choice for customers, and we are confident the refreshed Mercedes-Benz Style Edition will further elevate the experience it provides.”

KUHN Aviation, headquartered in Leesburg, Virginia, is a full-service private aviation company specializing in executive charters, aircraft management and aircraft sales and acquisitions. The company currently operates a fleet of aircraft including two Airbus H130 and two H120 helicopters.

The twin-engined ACH145 normally seats between four and eight passengers in a compact size particularly suited to both urban and exploration missions and now benefits from a new five-blade rotor providing enhanced comfort in the cabin and 150kg of additional useful load.

Airbus Corporate Helicopters is the global market leader in the private and business aviation sector with more than 2,000 aircraft fielded in 130 countries and a market share in excess of 50%. The ACH145 in particular has been the best seller in the twin-engine market for seven years in a row.
