Exclusive service, individuality and flexibility in terms of time when travelling

For the past eleven years, Lufthansa has been offering its passengers exclusive travel by private aircraft and customised flight schedules with Lufthansa Private Jet. Due to the success of the premium service, the airline has now extended its strategic alliance by five years with NetJets, the world's largest provider of private jet flights.

Jens Bischof, Executive Vice President Sales & CCO Hub Frankfurt: "Lufthansa Private Jet has established itself in the market as an integral part of our premium service and it is a perfect fit for our goal to be the first five-star airline in the Western world. We are therefore delighted to continue the fruitful cooperation with our partner NetJets in the coming years."

Lufthansa Private Jet operates more than 1,000 flights a year. The service complements the first-class service of the Lufthansa Group within Europe and North America. Passengers often use these flights to travel to and from the Lufthansa and Swiss First Class intercontinental routes, an option that is only available from Lufthansa. Lufthansa Private Jet offers passengers a high level of flexibility in terms of time: the flights are available at short notice up to ten hours before departure in Europe and up to twelve hours before departure in North America.

There are more than 1,000 destinations to choose from. Passengers can choose between small-size, mid-size and large-size aircraft, depending on the number of passengers and route. The airfares vary accordingly. A flight from Munich to Milan, for example, in a small-size aircraft (such as Embraer Phenom 300) costs around 7,400 euros.

Lufthansa Private Jet passengers have access to the first-class terminal in Frankfurt and to all Lufthansa and Swiss first-class lounges worldwide. A limousine transfer service at the hubs Frankfurt, Munich, Dusseldorf and Zurich are part of the service, as is VIP treatment at the major North American airports. Lufthansa Private Jet also offers a limousine service from home or office directly to the aircraft. The special Lufthansa Private Jet Sales & Service team is available around the clock to look after the needs of Lufthansa Private Jet passengers.
