Luxaviation has signed a strategic partnership with Darwin Aviation, a Thailand-registered aviation brokerages company, to expand its charter operator and aircraft management business in South-East Asia.

Mr. Tom Kunsch, Managing Director of Luxaviation Asia, signed the agreement with Mr. Darwin Yang who is both Chairman of Darwin Aviation, as well as President of ASEAN-China Commerce Association. The signing ceremony was held at the ASEAN-China Commerce Association’s 3rd Anniversary Gala Dinner, in the Grand Ballroom of Chaophya Park Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand, on 17 August 2016.

Mr. Tom Kunsch said:

“The potential for growth in south-east Asia is very significant and we are excited to partner with respected and experienced operators in order to progress these opportunities in the region. Luxaviation is committed to our expansion in Asia and the Middle East and we know that Darwin Aviation will be part of that journey.”

At the ceremony, Mr. Darwin Yang expressed his appreciation in being one of Luxaviation’s strategic partners. With his active involvement in Asia’s business communities, he hopes to grow the upward trend of general aviation in his business networks.

More than 200 guests attended the event, including the Guest of Honour, His Excellency Pongpol Adireksarn, former Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand; Dr Oran Asvarithikul, Honorary Consulate of Panama and Honorary Chairman of ASEAN China Commerce Association; and His Excellency Hamdan Mohamed Al Murshidi, President and Chairman of the Board, Arab Business Club. Other guests included prominent business leaders from Thailand, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.
