Luxaviation UK has renewed certification as a WYVERN Wingman Operator, achieved through the Flight Leader Program with quarterly coaching by WYVERN. WYVERN Wingman operators are evaluated by the Wingman Standard criteria, which includes a review of the company’s operational history and safety records, safety management system, internal evaluation program, administrative compositions, technical documentation, pilot and aircraft records, training requirements, and maintenance operations including technician training and experience.

George Galanopoulos, CEO of Luxaviation UK, commented: “Having this certification is more than a mark of safety, it affirms Luxaviation UK’s dedication to having the highest standards for its customers. Our team’s proactive engagement in the Flight Leader Programme and continuous improvement practices ensures that we lead with example for those operating in the industry.”

Andrew Day, WYVERN’s Senior Vice President, Operations, at WYVERN says: “We congratulate Luxaviation UK for renewing Wingman certification, which validates their effective safety management system and excellence in managing operations and aircraft maintenance. Wingman Operators stand out among their peers by allowing WYVERN to assess their conformity to best practices and continually monitor their information related to safety.”

Patrick Hansen, CEO of Luxaviation Group, stated: “Achieving WYVERN Wingman certification highlights Luxaviation Group’s commitment to safety across all of our markets. It’s a testament to the hard work of the Luxaviation UK team and reassures our clients that they are in good hands when they fly with us.”

As the aviation industry’s first air charter audit standard, the WYVERN Wingman Standard provides a benchmark that allows air charter customers to assess performance expectations against recognized industry best operating practices before purchasing air charter services.
