New regulations released by EASA on 25 August, 2016 require private aircraft operators to assess and mitigate travel risk using a Safety Management System under EASA Part-NCC.

EASA Air Operations Regulation Part-NCC pertains to private aircraft operators, and calls for the same essential requirements needed by commercial aircraft operators in the United Kingdom be applied to non-commercial aircraft. MedAire provides services that allow operators to comply with these new regulations.

MedAire’s Travel Risk Management services, offered within its Comprehensive Membership package, include aviation security products that help flight operations and aircraft owners facilitate risk analysis and management - as set out in AMC1 ORO.GEN.200.

To assist operators, MedAire’s Aviation Security team provide Airspace Assessments, Aviation Travel Security Briefs for over 5,000 airports worldwide, and daily Aviation Security Alerts to allow organisations and operators to comply with current regulations and have the most relevant data to plan travel and reduce risk.

The MedAire Aviation Travel Security Briefs (ATSB) and Airspace Assessments assist in the cost-effective and robust analysis, assessment and control of travel risks. MedAire’s Global Response Centre and Aviation Security Team are available for real-time, 24/7 assistance and advice, while timely data alerts are sent through MedAire’s Trip Ready App - available on iOS, Android and Windows - and online portal.

MedAire’s Comprehensive Membership includes aviation security services to help mitigate risks to passengers, crew and aircraft wherever they are in the world, in the air and on-the-ground.
