Metrojet Engineering Clark, the philippines-based MRO station of Metrojet limited, has recently received its certification from the Federal Aviation Administration to work on the airframe, aircraft batteries and aircraft wheel assemblies of the Bombardier BD700-2A12 (Global 7500).

MEC obtained the wheel assembly capability in June 2022. With the latest airframe and battery approval from the FAA in November, MEC is now able to perform the Global 7500 scheduled maintenance up to 24-Mth Check, aircraft batteries and aircraft nose/main wheel assemblies’ maintenance.

Mr Sarith Vaikuntan, General Manager of Metrojet Engineering Clark commented: “We are seeing more and more Bombardier Global 7500 deliveries in the APAC region and MEC will continue to invest in the Global 7500 product line and offer our customers the highest quality maintenance and parking services.”

Metrojet Engineering Clark currently operates a 7,100 m2 hangar providing both hangar and ramp parking and a fully authorised repair station with approvals from the Civil Aviation Authority of The Philippines (CAAP), The United States Federal Aviation Administration (The U.S. FAA), the Cayman Islands CAA, the Qatar QCAA, the Isle of Man CAA, and the San Marino CAA. Metrojet Engineering Clark is a well-developed MRO facility designed to augment both heavy and line maintenance capabilities in the Asia Pacific region.
