This long-term extension underscores the strong, symbiotic relationship of the two companies. Monterey Fuel Company is widely known as a pioneer in adopting SAF. Its FBO, Monterey Jet Center, was the first Avfuel Network FBO to consistently provide the sustainable option. With SAF supply extended to Del Monte Aviation as well, Avfuel and Monterey Fuel Company continue to work together to find ways to increase SAF’s uptake in the Monterey Peninsula and beyond via direct purchases, and book and claim inventory.
As part of the extended partnership, Monterey Fuel Company and Avfuel will explore opportunities to further enhance sustainability efforts, including supporting initiatives for hydrogen- and electric-powered aircraft.
