Sky Valet announces at EBACE that it has been awarded the tender to manage the Ibiza Business Aviation Terminal for the nextfive years, in line with the process being followed by AENA to develop the FBO business model in Spain, which we are delighted to collaborate with.
The Business Aviation terminal is currently going through a complete refurbishment process, and VIP passengers will soon enjoy a new state-of-the art FBO. The terminal remains open throughout the process, with opening of the new facility scheduled for mid of June 2017. Sky Valet FBO will offer 575m² of exclusive services which will include luxury passenger lounges, dedicated security screening, boardroom facilities, offices and dedicated crew facilities. An additional 200m² welcome and transit area will be shared.
"This success is key for Sky Valet as business jet operators are requesting us to create a memorable travel experience for their valued guests while travelling through Sky Valet’s European network of FBOs " said Michel Tohane, Director Business Aviation Sky Valet. " To achieve such expectation and provide world-class bespoke luxury services at Ibiza, we are currently investing half-a-million euros to renovate the terminal before the season starts ”
“Business aviation has grown significantly over the last few years in Spain and Sky Valet FBO’s arrival in Ibiza will bring both a strong brand and extensive European network to the airport. We are confident that our VIP guests will enjoy the newly refurbished FBO and we are looking forward to welcoming them very soon ” added Roberto Zapatero, Sky Valet Spain Director.
