TAG has opened expanded customer terminal facilities at the Farnborough Airport. The upgrades include additional lounge space for passengers as well as enhanced crew facilities, a gymnasium and second ‘snooze room’.

The customer lounge and crew facilities refurbishment has cost £1 million.

The new lounge space is accessed via a new spiral staircase in the terminal that leads directly into a coffee bar.

The airport has also opened a second fast-track entrance to the site for the exclusive use of passengers and crew.

“We receive feedback from our customers on a regular basis which enables us to identify ways to better serve them.”

Brandon O’Reilly, TAG Farnborough Airport’s CEO said: “We receive feedback from our customers on a regular basis which enables us to identify ways to better serve them. The ongoing investment in our facilities underpins our commitment to further improving the airport experience for passengers and crew.”

The TAG Group recently acquired The Swan and is opening it as a new gastro-pub serving food and drink in a modern style setting. The pub is formerly a 19th century coaching inn.

Aviator hotel is also owned by TAG, is situated on the perimeter on the airport. The hotel has stylish and contemporary facilities including the Brasserie, One Eleven and the Sky Bar.

Both The Swan and Aviator provide unique views of the air displays during the biennial Farnborough International Airshow.

O’Reilly said: “These conveniently located facilities together with our tailored airport services make TAG Farnborough Airport the one-stop-shop of choice for business aviation customers travelling through London.”

TAG Farnborough’s air traffic movements have grown in the year through to November 2015 by 1.6%. The airport is receiving more airliner-derived (50-80 tons maximum take-off weight) business jets with a notable 5% increase in 2015.

It appears that with the growth in the larger aircraft using the airport, a greater number of passengers are being carried by these aircraft.

TAG Farnborough has recently won a number of awards for their service and facilities.

“We appreciate the recognition from our customers and industry partners for the work we do.”

“We appreciate the recognition from our customers and industry partners for the work we do. These results are a tribute to the dedication of all our employees at Farnborough. Delivering bespoke services and facilities continues to be our focus at TAG Farnborough Airport,” added O’Reilly.
