Young aviation professionals looking to connect with others in the industry can take advantage of two events at the upcoming NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA2015), designed specifically for those who are new to business aviation.

The Young Professionals (YoPro) Networking Reception, scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 17 from 5:30 to 7 p.m., in the Innovation Zone at the Las Vegas Convention Center, will provide participants with an opportunity to meet and greet with fellow rising stars and established industry experts.
The reception also features the release of the Airport Business’ Top 40 Under 40 – a highlight of this year’s brightest newcomers in the industry.
"Attendees from all corners of the business aviation world will be present, so this is a great opportunity to expand your professional network, while gaining unmatched exposure to current and future leaders at the largest business aviation event in the world," said NBAA Manager of Registration Sierra Grimes, who helped organize the YoPro event.
On Wednesday, Nov. 18 from 9 to 10 a.m., the YoPro group will host an education session titled, "Elevate to New Heights: Young Professionals and the Future of Business Aviation." This interactive session will feature a panel of business aviation professionals exploring industry transformations, lessons learned and the impact young professionals have on business aviation. Panelists will invite audience participation to contribute to a variety of topics young professionals encounter on a daily basis. The session lso takes place in the Innovation Zone.
Both YoPro events are free for NBAA2015 registrants.
Additionally, young professionals can take part in the YoPro Passport program, in which they are asked to attend five of six events listed on a passport. The first 75 people to turn in their passports at registration will receive a free "entertainment only" ticket to the NBAA/Can Soiree on Nov. 18, featuring entertainment by The Zippers.
"Start the conversation now and use the hashtag #NBAAYoPro in your social media posts to connect with other business aviation young professionals," Grimes said.
