Hundreds of airline delegates will gather in Munich, Germany, from May 24-26 to discuss EFB issues. Arconics, the world’s leading airline software provider in EFB, document management and Wireless IFE, will demonstrate the AeroEFB modular electronic flight bag, which is used by Aer Lingus across its fleet of 46 Airbus aircraft, with 12 on order, including 9 A350-900s.

AeroEFB is a portable app, built as a native iOS app for iPads, so Arconics delegates will be particularly interested in the discussions around mobile applications and EFB operator experiences. The users forum is an excellent opportunity to learn more about real world experiences around the use of EFBs and the transition to the paperless cockpit.

Aer Lingus celebrates its 80th anniversary on May 27, 2016, and every Aer Lingus pilot uses the full range of AeroEFB modules. We are proud of our close association with Aer Lingus and look forward to working with the airline to continue delivering the best possible experience to flightcrew, while maintaining end-to-end control of the safety and compliance process.
