BIRD Aerosystems will display a unique surveillance special mission concept at the Singapore Air Show at Textron Aviation Inc.'s static display in Pavilion CD11. The concept transforms the class-leading Cessna Citation CJ4 platform into a sophisticated intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) maritime patrol aircraft with BIRD's field-proven Airborne Surveillance, Intelligence, and Observation (ASIO) solution.

The CJ4 with BIRD's ASIO solution allows users to enjoy extraordinary capabilities as it is able to carry multiple sensor configurations that support diverse maritime operational missions.

This is the first time BIRD Aerosystems has demonstrated the ASIO on the CJ4 in the Asia Pacific region.

BIRD Aerosystems' ASIO solution is a complete end-to-end airborne Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) system. ASIO provides decision makers and field commanders with real-time terrestrial and maritime information. Integrated with BIRD's unique mission management system and using the latest surveillance and monitoring sensors, the ASIO solution has become one of the most affordable, reliable and capable special mission aircraft solutions available today.

Ronen Factor, BIRD Aerosystems' co-chief executive officer and founder said "Equipped with the ASIO solution, the Citation CJ4 jet offers an enhanced solution that is ideal for the Asian market, where the need for effective maritime patrol and coastal protection is salient.”

Further elaborating on the advantages of the ASIO solution, Mr. Factor added: "The ASIO MPA solution is easy to operate and enables its users to effectively control and protect large areas in the maritime arena. BIRD's ASIO solution provides the entire operating team with accurate, unified and comprehensive situational overview as well as information they need in order to make decisions in real time. We are pleased to present our concept for the first time in the Asia Pacific region during the Singapore Air Show."
