Following a highly successful first complete year of international operations, Valcora is making its North American debut at this year’s NBAA Schedulers and Dispatchers event - booth 1736. The Switzerland-headquartered fuelling service will take the opportunity to promote its new North American office which joins the rapidly expanding global network of existing Valcora operations. Since launch in 2017, Valcora has opened bases in Switzerland, Ireland and Singapore. New Valcora locations in the USA and South Africa are also scheduled to begin operations by mid-2019.
The Valcora team will maximise its first S&D presence by engaging with new and potential North American customers, as it explains the benefits of the intuitive digital fuel purchasing platform to show delegates. Of particular benefit to North American operators flying to the EU is Valcora’s extensive experience handling the complexities of EU fuelling taxes. The intelligent system ensures customer tax obligations are correctly and fairly calculated to optimise operating budgets. The North American office has already received significant interest from local operators seeking a reliable fuel service that can support global operations.
Nigel Harris, has been appointed as Director Americas. Having worked in the aviation sector for 20 years with Valcora founders Daniel Coetzer and Valerie Bouthiaux, Harris is well positioned to support business growth. His responsibilities include sustaining continued high-quality customer support for US clients, expanding the customer base, and generating new business partnerships. “I am delighted to be part of the team. Valcora’s focus on customer service goes above and beyond, which is why we are one of the industry’s fastest growing aviation fuelling companies. Our presence at S&D will enable us to extend our connections and network even further,” says Harris.
“Our global sales have risen dramatically over the last 12 months thanks to our excellent team, our easy-to-use online platform, fiscal VAT expertise and our transparent pricing. We know the North American market is one of the most important business aviation sectors and look forward to delivering our service here,” says Daniel Coetzer, Valcora CEO.
Valcora’s technically sophisticated yet simple to use, fuel purchasing system has won a reputation as a reliable and efficient platform which is used by a number of the world’s largest business aviation operators, including Luxaviation. “As we venture into North America we are extremely well positioned with a fantastic team, a local presence, intelligent technology, and strong buying power which we can leverage to benefit all our customers,” adds Coetzer.
Founded in 2017 by Coetzer and Bouthiaux, General Manager, Valcora delivers an intuitive digital fuel purchasing platform combining pricing transparency, a reliable fuel card and a team of dedicated multi-lingual 24/7 account managers, supported by an exceptional inhouse team, to enable real time fuel quotes and purchasing around the globe, as well as offering support for fiscal administration.
