Euramec, the European flight simulation manufacturer, will present its new range of flight training devices based on the Diamond DA-20, DA-40 and DA-42 series and will also introduce the new Cessna 172 training device during the 2018 Farnborough International Airshow.

The standard training devices are usually certifiable in accordance with EASA FNPT-II or FAA Level 5 as a minimum requirement.

New products which will be certifiable for MCC are also in the pipeline, such as a Boeing 737NG which will soon be offered in cooperation with Wright Brothers (Harbin).

Euramec and China-based Wright Brothers (Harbin) earlier this year concluded a successful bid for six flight simulators to be delivered in the second half of 2018 to Civil Aviation Flight University of China (CAFUC), the largest civil aviation university in Asia.

Bespoke trainers: from Ultra Light to Business Jet

Euramec has several new flight simulation solutions on the drawing table, ranging from ultralight aircraft simulators to small business aircraft trainers. Euramec is expecting several orders for these new devices with delivery planned in 2019.

Bert Buyle, President and CEO: “Following the set up of our design center in Porto, Portugal in 2017, we are now in an excellent position to start offering custom made training devices, both for commercial and military applications.”

These bespoke training solutions range from individual instrument simulations to complete cockpits or flight training devices.

Euramec already produces such devices for one of the largest defence groups in Europe.

Bert Buyle: “We are growing fast and we are ready to expand our worldwide presence. In April the company set up a subsidiary in Hangzhou, China in addition to our existing offices in Harbin, Hong Kong and Singapore. A support office is planned at Shanghai Hongqiao airport later this year.”

During the Farnborough International Airshow, Euramec will also announce a sales and support office in Bangalore, India and possibly a further arrangement covering North America.
